Be Connected Be Secure!
The Bruin Connect and Secure Program is designed to enhance UCLA's cybersecurity across the entire campus. It will unify our network to create a secure, adaptable, and scalable system that supports ongoing digital innovation. This program will also ensure a safe digital environment to support UCLA's mission.
Without the transformation, we risk vulnerabilities with a lack of visibility into mitigating threats across campus that could lead to a lack of trust from the UCLA community and external partners. Currently, there is a lack of insight into technology and coverages gaps across campus, leading to higher costs with slower technology and a segmented network. Without the program, we risk local IT teams feeling overworked and under supported.
Bruin Connect and Secure is the foundation for the future and will provide a world class experience to our campus partners. It is essential to the digital safety of our campus community to safeguard and protect our sensitive data and will support us in staying compliant with evolving federal and state regulations.
Bruin Connect and Secure is a Digital Campus Roadmap initiative.
